Collecting and Processing Models
Wirecard offers two different models when it comes to concluding contracts with financial service providers for the payment methods you offer in your online shop.
Collecting model
For this model only one contract needs to be concluded with Wirecard Bank which acts as your acquirer and consolidates all payment flows to one bank account. I.e. this model allows you to collect payments from various payment methods to one single bank account.
The collecting model ensures a safe processing of your transactions while at the same time offering a convenient and clear overview of all of your online payment flows. For further information and details please contact our sales teams.
Processing model
When using the processing model, an acceptance contract has to be concluded with the relevant financial service providers for each payment method you offer in your online shop.
Some payment methods might even have specific regulations as to the country in which the account for receiving the funds has to be opened. For further information and details please contact our sales teams.
